Jill Burke, QMS QOF seminar presenter
Based on the average GP practice with 6,000 patients, annual earnings from the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) can reach £130,000, so it's an important part of the GP practice plans.
To explain the most recent changes to the framework, QMS is offering a QOF/DES Management seminar in north, south and central London on 5, 6 and 7 July respectively. The seminar is ideal for GP partners, practice managers, commissioning group members and GP consortia group members.
The QMS seminars will be delivered by QOF specialist Jill Burke, who has presented at several Management in Practice conferences and has also been invited to sit on the expert panel for QOF related workshops.
The seminar will provide attendees with details of the changes, tips, action plans and practical guidance to maximise GP practices' QOF/DES success.
Managing director of QMS, Dr Martin Bethell, stated: "As a practicing GP myself, I know how vital it is to prepare for the QOF and DES changes. This essential bite-sized seminar will provide practices with a detailed knowledge of the changes together with a practical action plan, to help attendees apply what they have learned."
The seminar dates and times are:
• 5 July, The Harrow Hotel, Harrow 2pm-4.30pm
• 6 July, Waldron Health Centre, New Cross - 10am-12.30pm
• 7 July, Royal College of Surgeons, Holborn - 2pm-4.30pm
QMS is a specialist clinical software and training company, working with GP consortia and PCTs nationally. Its systems and training help practices and PCTs to manage data effectively and prioritise work more efficiently.
