Neighbourhood Direct Ltd (NDL) published their first Free-of-Charge Practice Booklet back in 1990. Since then, they have produced Practice Booklets, Appointment Cards and Practice Websites for over 2,000 practices throughout the U.K. & Ireland – all on the same Free-of-Charge basis. This simple concept provides benefits to the practice, the patients and the advertisers and provides a real community service.
All three products are supported by carefully selected advertising over which the practice retain total control. Nothing appears without the practice’s approval.
Most practices take advantage of the full package of Practice Booklet, Appointment Card and Practice Website. This simplifies the process of keeping them up-to-date in that amendments to one are, automatically, incorporated into the others. Practice managers find this facility particularly useful at the moment with what seems a constant stream of changes taking place in general practice. NDL are able to provide very short print runs these days which further assists in the management of change.
