A&D Medical are offering even greater value with their outstanding TM-2655P waiting room blood pressure monitor, adding an Irregular Heartbeat Feature to the unit. This feature is designed to help maximise QOF points by pinpointing irregular heartbeats, indicating potential arrhythmias without alarming the patient due to the new coded signal on the printout. The monitor has already helped over a thousand practices to optimise the collection of blood pressure results, and this new feature is adding to the benefits. The patient can come into the surgery and take their own blood pressure whenever they like, meaning both practice and patient benefit from the convenience and reliability of the unit.

A&D have recently introduced the unique UA-789XL, allowing those with very large arms to monitor their blood pressure easily and reliably for the first time. The cuff, inflated by the new high-speed pump, fits arms from 42-60cm.

In addition to this, A&D have extended the warranty on all their standard UA and UB (upper arm and wrist) monitors from two years to a full five year, manufacturer-backed warranty. This gives peace of mind to the user, as well as demonstrating A&D’s confidence in their own products.
